Sophie Burnham
Sophie trained at the Arts Educational School in Tring, Hertfordshire
before going on to complete her education by gaining a Diploma
in Musical Theatre from the Arts Educational School in Chiswick,
London. She also has a City & Guilds in Decorative Painting.
After leaving college she worked for nine years as a performer
on stage and in television, with a variety of engagements from
television commercials to West End Theatre.
Sophie spent a year teaching Dance at Alywin Girls School, London
in 1999 and still teaches Dance one day a week at Stagecoach Theatre
Arts in Chiswick.
Her theatre credits include "Moby Dick" at Piccadilly
Theatre, London, "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at
Plymouth Theatre Royal, "Aladdin" at the Theatre Royal,
Windsor and "La Nouvelle Eve" in Paris.
Her television credits include appearances on 'Eastenders', 'TV-AM',
Channel 4's 'Don't Forget your Toothbrush' and 'Wogan'.
Sophie's commercial credits include Mercedes, USA, McDonalds,
UK and Robbie Williams' 'Swing When You're Winning'.
Sophie is a guest choreographer at the Academy and will also
be teaching GSCE Dance, ISTD Modern and RAD Ballet.
