Melanie Orchard

Hannah Kirton

Hannah graduated from The Guildford School of Acting in 2004 gaining a BA Hons degree in musical theatre.  She has worked in professional theatre performing in Pantomimes including playing ‘Jack’ in Jack and the Beanstalk and ‘Tommy’ & ‘Fairy Candy Floss’ in Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  She has also performed for Tiger Aspects and Channel 4 in Howard Goodall’s 20th Century Greats, ‘Pantomimes,’ a documentary for BBC, ‘The Hub,’ Educational Film and various commercials. 

She has been the lead vocalist for Peter Anthony’s new musical, ‘Candy’ soon to debut in the UK and performed and recorded for the premier cast recording of ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ UK production.  Hannah performed live with Ruthie Henshall at ‘A Night At The Musicals’ at Ipswich Maltings.

Along side musical theatre, Hannah has been in the recording studio for the past three years writing and compiling songs for her first Rock self titled album.  She began the band in 2004 and has played over 50 gigs in London including The Half Moon Putney, The Clapham Grand and West One 4.  The Half Moon, Putney described them as ‘...a diva fronted rock band,’ and Twang from Total Rock FM said,’ blues lead riffs from a band who’s lead singer will go on to become a UK legend.’

She has also been working with Astar Management as a singer/songwriter.  She is guest appearing on a digital release ‘Game’ released by Indecent Records, recording for Sacha Collinson of Xenomania Records, Recording for Harry Coade, Writer/Producer for Stuart Wade’s ‘Down to the bone’ and for Roy Ayres, Pig Iron’s current Heavy Rock album, ‘Paths of Glory, Lead But o The Grave’ which is available in the shops, and also the third album, ‘Numbers Rush By,’ written and composed by Shane Cullinam, an urban poet of Funk/Classical fusion.  Hannah has performed on the Battersea Barge, The Venue and St. Paul’s on the Piazza, Covent Garden with Shane.  Hannah performs many different styles from musical theatre to hard rock!

Hannah has 10 years of dance teaching and choreographic experience.  Hannah has lead dance and drama workshops in Jersey for STOMP, a children’s theatre company held at the Jersey Opera House, Choreographed Moby Dick the Musical for Surrey Youth Theatre, Grease the Musical for Therfield School, taught Dance and choreographed Bugsy Malone for Stagecoach Theatre Arts, created Dance numbers entered in Search for a Star with Stagecoach pupils, choreographed Alice in Wonderland for STOMP Jersey, choreographed The Biggest Rock’n’Roll Ball of the Year, a charity performance for Her Majesty’s Trust, Modern and Tap exam routines and couching or Clandon School of dance, Starting up and running successful Hip-Hop classes for Clandon School of Dance along with Show Choreography,  and Adult Education Tap and Jazz classes at Guildford University for Campus Dance.
